This is a gorgeous shade of soft rust brown, a bit like hazelnut, and it's just perfect for autumn/winter. The pure alpaca yarn has little lighter flecks in it, offering a true Scottish highland look whilst remaining soft, light and comfortable to wear.

My Highlanders are a little larger in diameter than my regular berets - coming in at 12.5" diameter so they have a good droop down over the ears. This one is medium to large size, at 23" circumference but I'm happy to knit smaller or larger circumference, just drop me a note at checkout.

These bonnets are great for re-enactors and those wishing to recreate a little of a certain Scots period drama at home...!

To care for your bonnet, gently hand wash it and dry it flat, then iron on a two-dot setting to reshape it. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask!
